1.       ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The Pirate Hat Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older and have online access at time of entry. Officers, directors, employees and agents of Pyrate Leatherworx ("Sponsor"), as well as any members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling and child) and persons living in the same household are ineligible. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM (CT) on May 8, 2006 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (CT) on June 18, 2006.

2.       HOW TO ENTER: Between 12:00:00 AM (CT) on May 8, 2006 and 11:59:59 PM (CT) on June 18, 2006 you may enter the Sweepstakes by visiting www.pyrate.org. Entrants must complete the registration form to enter. Entrants must click on the "submit" button to complete the entry process ("Entry"). Limit one online (1) Entry per household. All eligible Entries received will be automatically entered into the First and Grand Prize drawings.    

3.       WINNER SELECTION: There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner and ten (10) First Prize Winners selected in a random drawing from all eligible Entries received during the Promotion Periods at www.pyrate.org on or about June 19, 2006, by the Sponsor. The decisions of the Sponsor are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a Grand or First Prize are dependent upon total number of eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period. All prizes will be awarded, provided a sufficient number of eligible Entries are received by Sponsor.

4.       WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Grand Prize and First Prize Winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail on or about June 21, 2006. Failure to respond within the time specified, the return of any prize notification as undeliverable, or noncompliance with these rules will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.

5.       PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A Handmade Leather Tricorn Hat ("Hat"). ERV: $105 which includes shipping. TEN (10) FIRST PRIZES: A “This Vehicle Is Protected By Pirates” Bumper Sticker (ERV: $3.99). All federal, state and local taxes, costs and all expenses for any of the foregoing are the responsibility of the First and Grand Prize Winners. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. Sponsor will pay shipping costs within the US. Prizes are not transferable. No prize substitution, transfer or cash redemption allowed in lieu of prize, except at Sponsor's sole discretion, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value. Limit one prize will be awarded to any person/household.

6.       GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the state of Kansas, with venue and jurisdiction in Shawnee, KS all claims must be resolved in the courts located in Shawnee, KS. By entering, entrants/winners agree: (1) to release and hold harmless Released Parties from liability, loss, injury or damage arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes and with respect to their acceptance and use/misuse of any prize; (2) to be bound by the Official Rules; (3) that the decisions of the Sponsor is final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes; and (4) to be contacted by the Sponsor via telephone, email or express mail regarding the Sweepstakes. Entry in Sweepstakes constitutes a grant to the Sponsor by each entrant to all rights of his/her Entry, including, without limitation, the right of the Released Parties to use and publish entrant's name, likeness, photograph, city and state of residence, and the right to publish, use, exhibit, adapt or modify his/her Entry in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further consideration or payment, permission or notification to the entrant, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate or by any human or technical error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. An Entry, except where prohibited by law, constitutes a grant of permission to the Sponsor or its agents to include winner's names on the www.pyrate.org website and in connection with a Winner's List without further notice or without additional compensation. Neither the Sponsor nor Sweepstakes are in any way affiliated with Pirates Of The Caribbean or Disney. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event that it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the natural person in whose name the e mail account is registered. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply and are entrants' sole responsibility.
